"The Three Lost Boys of Hogwarts" - This is a digital composite of three traditionally-drawn portraits of the three lost boys of Hogwarts: Tom Riddle, Severus Snape, and Harry Potter.
These three boys had so much in common, and they turned out wildly different. Tom Riddle stares coldly and ruthlessly at the viewer, while Severus Snape looks backwards at Harry, perhaps because of his vow to Lily and (in my own imagining) perhaps he did find *something* to admire or at least not hate in Harry. Perhaps he grudgingly recognized, at least sometimes, that he is not a miniature version of James Potter, and that he is also the son of Lily Evans.
And Harry looks forward, past Tom Riddle, and into a future that only he out of the three, could have. These three characters are just so tragic in their own ways.
A print of this drawing sold for a whopping $285 at the Portus 2008 art auction. 100% of proceeds went to HPEF and charity. I do not have any 11x14" versions of this print available for purchase, but I have a limited number of 8x10" prints ($15) for sale.
